Dr Ee-Munn Chia practices both as a Medical Retinal Specialist and a General Ophthalmologist.
After graduating from the University of Sydney with First Class Honours, she completed her ophthalmic training at the Sydney Eye Hospital. She trained further in general ophthalmology at the Manchester Royal Eye and Stepping Hill Hospitals in the United Kingdom before a medical retinal fellowship with Retina Associates, Sydney.
She attained her PhD from the University of Sydney following research as a co-investigator with the Blue Mountains Eye Study. These results are published in large international ophthalmic journals. She has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of age-related macular degeneration and retinal vascular diseases including diabetic retinopathy.
She also has appointments at Retina Associates Nepean, Liverpool and Campbelltown.
